The number of coranavirus patients in Pakistan climbed to 908 on Tuesday after new cases reported in Punjab and Sindh.
According to sources, with the rise in the number of cases in Sindh stood at 399, in Punjab at 265, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 38, in Balochistan at 110, in Islamabad Capital Territory at 15, in Gilgit-Baltistan at 80 as new cases emerged today, while AJK reported 01.
Moreover, 06 deaths were confirmed so far in the country, three fatatlities reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one each in Sindh, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Punjab on Tuesday reported three more coronavirus cases, bringing the provincial tally to 249.
It is pertinent to mention here, the province went into lockdown today (Tuesday) in an effort to control the spread of the COVID-19.
In view of escalating number of virus cases in the province, the restrictions imposed by the provincial authorities which will be continued for the next 14 days.
