AJK Records Three new COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Region Tally to 9

Three more coronavirus cases were reported in AJK on Wednesday, taking the region's tally to nine.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Commissioner said the two of the cases belonged to the Bhambore area while the third was recorded in Trarkhel.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 patients in Pakistan has jumped to 2,040 on Wednesday after new cases reported in different parts of the country.

According to the national dashboard for the coronavirus, managed by the federal health ministry, the highest number of patients reported in Punjab so far, the toll stood at 708, tally in Sindh 679, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 253, in Balochistan at 158, in Islamabad Capital Territory at 58, Gilgit-Baltistan at 184, while AJK reported 09 patients after three new cases were emerged.

Moreover, 26 deaths were confirmed so far in the country, nine deaths reported in Punjab, eight in Sindh, six in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Two in Gilgit-Baltistan while one death was reported in Balochistan whereas at least 59 patients have recovered from coronavirus pandemic across Pakistan.
