Panache meets purpose. I like this headline by Cricinfo.com. It conjures up the image of Pakistanis playing with a lot of flair to entertain the crowd without a lot of thought about the outcome. Let's hope that our players entertain with a purpose this time: To win the twenty20 world cup.

Pakistan looking really good so far. Restricted NZ to 143 and now batting at 60/0 with 13 overs remaining. Looks like Pakistan are headed into the final.

What an achievement after a year full of controversy !!!
The cartwheels by that Pakistani guy sum up my mood completely. :D
The Pakistani team is also getting much better at communication. Shoaib Malik is quite a thinking captain. His decision to bowl Umar Gul after 10 overs is a stroke of genius.

The Indians will now be in double pressure to do well. They might not admit it but they will now be desperate to make it to the final, now that Pakistan has made it.

    A Pakistan-American franchisee has joined a Qatari-backed investor group's bid to buy out the US-based Papa John's Pizza restaurants chain.
