On the other hand, police have also prepared a plan to stop the caravans going to attend the rally. Over 24 entry and exit points to the city will be cordoned off and more than 45 mobile police teams will continue their patrols across the district.

On Thursday, the district administration granted permission to Pakistan Democratic Moment to hold a rally in Gujranwala. According to details, a written order issued by Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala said that a rally would be allowed on October 16 at Jinnah Stadium from 5 to 11 pm.

The written order states that Corona SOPs will be implemented during the meeting as per the permission. All terms agreed between the parties are included in the written order. A 28-point agreement has been reached between the district administration and the PDM.

According to the agreement, it is also necessary to keep a distance of 3 to 6 feet between the workers.

No PDM leader will speak outside the stadium and no speech will be made against the national security agencies and the constitution.

The agreement also stipulated that the display of arms and fireworks in the rally will be banned.
