The best way to keep any forum visible is to have activity on it. If you start a discussion on mentoring forum, it'll immediately show up on the main page. The other way to get visibility into it is for interested members to subscribe to an RSS feed or email notification.
thanks... nice to know that someone agrees :) . We have been living in Jersey City,NJ for more than six years now.
Seems like ur batch must be 1998-99 .take care.
I visited nedscholar.org. Very good work.
Right now, I'm just testing the waters to see if any serious givers/takers show real interest. I'm seeing very motivated mentors/givers among alumni but no takers/mentees yet among NED students. I'll give it sometime to see where it goes before putting additional effort. I'll ask you to help at that point. I had the same experience when I did the NEDians survey and most of the responders were alumni, not faculty or students. Thanks for the offer. You are clearly a generous, motivated alum wishing to help NEDians. I admire your spirit of giving.
I am a full-time mother these days...have been on a break from work for quite sometime now. Yes, my husband is also an Nedian...and graduated the same year and from the same department as myself :). He also goes to Manhattan for work.
Assalam u alikum
