Maleeha,
I can tell your from my experience and the experience of many here in Silicon Valley, NED has proved to be springboard for great success by many alums. I personally found it to be very competitive and inspirational with all of the classmates I had. The quality of the buildings, the equipment, the labs and the faculty was nothing to write home about. But the student body was terrific. I probably learned a lot more from working with other students than I did from the faculty.

Maleeha,
I agree with Mr Riaz, when I was in BE at NED and find NED at 21 place among top asian institutes (GIK and NUST above NED) it was sad affairs. This rating was based on faculty and research activities in all univesities. However NED reputation was mainly at undergraduate level and becoz of its graduates making remarkable achievements in post-graduate or other activities where ever in world they got opportunity. I personally think that what is taught in four years programme by some good teachers and competitive enviornment among top guys and guls in class provides you enough to gain and develop knowledge and skills. I know many nedians in UK have been settled either in good jobs or pursuig PhD on scholarship.
