1,000-Bed Hospital Established at Lahore Expo Center

A 1,000-bed hospital had been established at the Expo Centre in Lahore to cope with coronavirus outbreak.
The provincial administration on Wednesday said in a post on Twitter, "The 1,000-bed hospital was setup in nine days".
"This hospital will cater exclusively to coronavirus patients. Chief Minister Punjab Usman Budar will visit the hospital today," the post read.
The province had been placed under lockdown earlier this month to control the coronavirus spread.

It is to be noted that, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has mounted to 708 in the province, bringing the nationwide tally to 2,040 while 9 deaths were reported so far across Punjab.
