What is your aggregate percentage? I can tell you the addresses of some English language programs, but its hard to do so without knowing your profile.

No, learning German is not essential...secondly, Germany has ample number of jobs (that's the situation now, it was pretty bad just 2-3 years back when Siemens shutdown its telecom business and some other issue) in all fields of EE & CS. So, job might not be a problem.

Still, its hard to predict the situation 3-4 years down the road (there are unfortunately some negative signs, sp. in the Communications industry), when you might graduate with a Masters degree.

Check this link out...and search for programs of your interest.

Unfortunately, your percentage is pretty less....some of my NED classfellows didn't get an admission to my current university with percentages of 80-85%. All pakistanis that I've met in my current university are position holders from Pakistan...Similar is the case with RWTH-Aachen, TUHH, TU-Darmstadt etc..

So, you will either be able to get into some lesser ranking university....try University of Bremen or Kaiserslautern.. etc. or some private university which takes quite a lot of fees!

Salam Faisal

Apologies for the late reply.
In theory if you are graduating in December, then it may be possible to start your MSc in January otherwise you have to wait until Sept 09.
It is generally very difficult to find a scholarship in a UK university. Nowadays, the UK universities are oraganising open days at various educational institutions in Pakistan where there is a good chance to get some fees off (could be upto 50%). My ex-colleague from Plymouth used to go to Pakistan to conduct such events and he had handed in upto 50% off on fees to some students. I am not sure if they are organising such an event in NED or not this year!!

If you want to do MSc from a UK university, go for an above average university as it may help you securing a job. It may be better if you work for a couple of years in Pakistan before starting your Masters.

The conditions in the UK have changed dramatically in the last 5-6 years. To get a job here, you need to have a work permit and getting one is not the easiest thing to do. Most employers are just not interested in sponsoring a work permit at all these days especially if you have a green passport (thanks to all the tabloids on that). Thats why I asked you to go for an above average university so you have some chance to compete in the job market.

The job conditions are more or less the same for all areas you mentioned so it is upto you to decide. The prospects of finding a job in Pakistan after your MSc might influence your decision.

Hope this helps
If I could be of any more help to you, please let me know.
