Does anyone of you know about any *reliable* research study on semiconductors in Pakistan? What the current status is and the potential areas of growth?

As far as I know, there's no semiconductor fab in Pakistan. However, there are chip design centers operated by companies like Palmchip, Whizz Systems, OpenSilicon, etc.
