Misbah-ul-Haq's determined fight in Pak-India Test match in Calcutta

While Kamran Akmal finally stood up to be counted as a contributor for Pakistan in Calcutta, the person that continues to impress me with his great skill and temperament is Misbah-ul-Haq. In addition to his cool demeanor, the other key attribute that sets Misbah apart from his team-mates is his level of formal education. I have heard that he has two Masters degrees and worked and played for Khan Research Labs. Like another well-educated and successful Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan, Misbah is also a Niazi from Mianwali. Cricket is a game of skill and mind. It seems to me that it does help to succeed in cricket if you have had a good education. Let's hope we get better educated players selected to play for Pakistan. While it shouldn't be the only criterion for selection, education should be give significant consideration.
